A founding member must be involved in manufactoring and/or distribution of dental products.

In order to become a founding member of AESIC as a funding member the company must fulfil the current European Medical Devices Directives (MDD) as well as other relevant European Directives and must adhere to the ethical rules according to FDI (Federation Dentaire International).  Foundership membersip closed on 30 June 2009 and requireed a one-off donation to assist with the development of AESIC.
